Arrival
and Departure by air
Dominica is not served by direct air flights from Europe or North America. You
will be required to fly to one of the following at Islands to pick up a shuttle flight
by American Eagle, LIAT, Caribbean Star, AirCaribe all of whom have frequent daily
flights to Dominica.
- To St. Martin (SXM), Antigua
(ANU), Barbados (BGI) and St. Lucia (SLU), There are daily flights from Canada, the
U.S. and the U.K.
- Guadeloupe or Martinique,
There are by-weekly flights from Canada (Montreal) and daily from France
- Puerto Rico (SJU) American
Eagle services all the Caribbean from here. There are a number of connecting flights
serving the U.S.A.
When planing your trip
to Wind Blow be sure to ask your airline or travel agent for a flight to Melville
Hall Airport. It is only 20 minutes drive

Dominican driving license
is required and is provided by the car rental for $12 U.S.
You can pick one up at
the airport before you leave the "arrivals area".
Ask any immigration officer
for directions . Drive on the left side of the road. Most main
roads are black top
and are well maintained.
Bus Service
Excellent bus service is available to any where in the country. A great way to see
and experience Dominica first hand.

Advance arrangements may
be made for a a car rental pick up at the Ferry Terminal. The drive time from Roseau
to Calibishie is just under 2 hours and includes a spectacular journey through Dominica's
Central Forest Reserve -- an excellent introduction to the island for first-time
visitors!
